POLL: Player of the Month (December)

It's not often that a goalie has a shot at a hat trick. This is one of those rare feats.

The readers of MayorsManor voted Jonathan Quick the Player of the Month for October. He captured 51% of the votes, more than double the next closest competitor, Justin Williams at 21%.

Quick retained his crown for the month of November, garnering 52% of the votes and again beating Williams.

This month, his stats place him back in contention. However, he has several worthy challengers. Here are the leading candidates for Kings Player of the Month...

(in alphabetical order)

Dustin Brown - 19 points (7g, 12a), seven multi point games and was plus-14

Jack Johnson - 11 points (3g, 8a) and was plus-6

Anze Kopitar - 20 points (7g, 13a), seven multi point games and was plus-14

Jonathan Quick - record of 7-3-1, three shutouts and .918 save percentage

Justin Williams - 10 points (6g, 4a) and was plus-5

Who gets your vote?

  1. Voted for Brown just because he has seemed to be the spark that ignites everyone. However, I do think Alec Martinez should have made this list.
