Saturday morning at 8:30 am the Los Angeles Kings - well, about one-third of them - will take the ice in El Segundo for the opening of the team's main training camp.

Over two dozen of the participants have been in Rookie Camp for the last week or so and the majority of other players and have been around the training facility, working out on a volunteer basis, for the last few weeks as well.

Now, it's all for real.

[who knows why they felt the need to put Jack Johnson and Justin Johnson in the same pool of players]

GROUP B

NOTE: Goalie JF Berube is also in camp - however, he's not expected to be ready for full contact (hip surgery) for about two more weeks

Obviously, the main roster players are pretty much the same as last season - with three major exceptions: the additions of Gagne, Richards and Moreau.

  1. As a Kings fan I just found the Manor after watching The Mayor on Kings Vission. The content is great and he cares about the team too. Great job Mayor.

  2. Since Michal Cajkovsky can play both forward or defense, could he potentially play the same roll Peter Harrold played due to his versatility?
